Jenny Cunningham

(formerly pupil Jenny Taylor, daughter of Delia)		 26-11-2001 I am writing to ask you if you would include my mother, Delia Taylor, in your Remembrance page. She was the school matron from about 1965 to 1972 (approx. dates). She died on Wednesday (21st Nov 2001) aged 86 after years of declining health due to a series of strokes. I'm sure many past pupils from that time will remember her - she had such a good relationship with most of them although she was not one to suffer fools gladly! Mum enjoyed her time at KGS very much and would be pleased to be remembered by those she worked with and for.

Budden
25-12-2001 I I remember Delia well - probably because I went out with her younger
daughter - Susan. She was a new thing for the school when she came and
quickly became popular and was always approachable and friendly. A sad loss.
