Photo Scanning Information - Please print this page

Dear KGS/Kingsfield Friend

Here are a few tips to help you to send school photos for inclusion in our website www.kgs.info

1.If it is a black and white photo, use B/W modus (or greyscale) when scanning.

2.Scan the photo (B/W or Colour) with a width of between 600 and 650 pixels.

3.If your scanner allows you to determine the "dpi" (dots per inch),
set this to something between 72 and 100 dpi (B/W or Colour)

4.Don't do any extra enhancing work on the photo, unless you really know how.

5.Save the photo in either "tif" or "jpg" format

6.If you have more than one photo to send, please pack them all into one single "zip file" if you can.
If not, then send each single one seperately.

7.Send your photo(s) as email attachment to photos@kgs.info

8.If possible, please don't send any file attachments larger than 2 Mb

9.Please also bear with me if it takes a while to get your photo(s) online.
All will be done in due course, but I am overloaded with work
